Our association is committed to this cause out of conviction – selflessly, responsibly, and with the common good in mind. We are not driven by economic interests, but by what endures: culture, education, and the preservation of historical sites as living testaments to our history.
Our Mission
At the heart of our commitment is Unsleben Water Castle – a unique place that unites history, art, and regional identity. We see the castle not as a static museum, but as a vibrant space: embedded in the historical context of Lower Franconia and open to the cultural life of the region.
How We Make a Difference
We promote culture and education through events, encounters, and projects that bring history to life and encourage dialogue. Donations enable us to continue this work sustainably. Personal commitment is equally important: many of our members contribute their time and effort free of charge – from monument preservation measures to the development of new ideas.
Together, we are working on a forward-looking cultural and educational concept for the castle buildings. Our goal is to preserve the past, shape the present, and set the course for the future.
